Hear about the origins of VitaVoice from Scott Garrett, one of our founders.

Carrie and I as a couple who've been performing since our teens while running parallel careers in music industry education, voice and singing, we reached a point in our lives where eating the right foods all the time was not always a possibility.

We had young kids and, during the pandemic, to have the energy and mental clarity to manage day to day we became increasingly focused on health, self-care, and preventative approaches to well-being, including nutrition and supplementation to boost our own health.

Scott was particularly inspired by the benefits he had personally experienced from regularly using Lion’s Mane Mushroom and had been promoting it to everyone he knew. He suggested to Carrie the idea of forming a supplementation company to promote what we had found to other musicians. Having spent over a decade by this time working as a clinical voice specialist in the NHS Carrie brought in her experience around the wider impact of ill-health, stress and inflammation on the voice specifically, and the idea for VitaVoice was born!

Scott then brought in Jack, a business partner from other projects and expert in all things strategic. For the next two years the ideal supplement was researched using scientific evidence-base, consultations with nutritionists, manufacturers, other health practitioners to create our ‘optimal’ food supplement which would support voice, body and mind. Mental Health Awareness: Growing awareness around mental health and stress management aligns with the use of adaptogens and nootropics, which support both cognitive function and stress resilience. Sustainability and Transparency:

We are a family-run business that promotes the use of high-quality, responsibly sourced natural ingredients. Skip forward 2 years and VitaVoice has been presented at many conferences and exhibitions, spoken about on leading Voice-related podcasts and media, and is currently being sold in the UK and internationally, including USA, Germany, and New Zealand. VitaVoice is now trusted by many major Soap Actors, West End Stars and a couple of legendary Rock Icons.
